EAVS Volunteer Centre is your first step on the way to getting involved in your community. It offers information on Volunteering opportunities in the town and surrounding areas. The range of voluntary work is vast, giving volunteers the opportunity to use skills, develop interests, meet people and become active in bringing about social change.

What can I do?
EAVS Volunteer Centre can offer you a variety of opportunities to suit your abilities. Volunteering will enable you to make an important contribution to your local community. EAST SUSSEX VOLUNTEER DEVELOPMENT

Sarah Hodgetts has joined the staff at EAVS as the East SussexVolunteer Development Officer.  This is a new post funded by East Sussex County Council until March 2009.  Sarah has specific government targets to achieve on increasing the numbers of volunteers in East Sussex through the launch of a county-wide promotional campaign. She is keen to work in partnership with volunteer-using organisations within the voluntary, community and statutory sectors to raise awareness of a diversity of volunteering opportunities, facilitate constructive dialogue and develop appropriate support for volunteering.
